The Rock-itt : November 2011
United States, the film was a good production and deserved more acclaim than it got. In the countries where it was released it did very well, but the musical arrangements were something else and got rave reviews in the States as well as right around the world. An album was produced soon after and reaped great critical acclaim with music buffs em bracing Robert Florczak’s offerings with so much enthusiasm that it became a number one seller and rocketed Robert right into the music world spotlight. Robert Florczak toured with the publicity department for “Roar” which cam e to Australia and New Zealand for which he attended functions right around the country including the Manzil Room at Kings Cross. But Robert had another passion which was burning deep down and was crying out to be brought to the surface. Robert’s love for art finally began to consume him, gradually pushing his love for music into the back ground. Robert one day made a decision that what he wanted was to express his thoughts and feelings on canvas. He finally hung his guitar up for good and started painting. We shall be doing another feature on Robert Florczak further down the track concerning his artworks which are masterpieces of colour and beauty. W e will be showing som e of them in The Rock-itt’s pages in the coming months and we will review a new book Robert is researching and compiling at this very mom ent.
