. Beacon Hill’s Women’s Premier league team continue to march on their way in the State cup having beaten Sydney University (B) 2-0 last weekend and now shaping up well for a semi final berth. In the local comp the 1 st division of the squad are coming 2nd to Manly Vale A and are looking forward to take them on in upcoming matches. In Reserve grade the girls are currently running 3rd . Good luck girls in both competitions State Cup and the local competition. Photo depicts Beacon Hills Women’s Coordinator C ommittee member Maria Pollard in fine action in the 1-1 draw verses BTH Our Beacon Hill W omen’s All age division 3 took on competition leaders, Belrose Terrey Hills who have not lost any games during this season and not having conceded any goals either. t Beacon Hill ladies were very nervous, but once the whistle had gone they settled down to play some great football. The team came back from 1-0 down when our brilliant Striker Athe, managed to do what so many other teams this year have not been able to achieve, putting the ball past the Belrose Terrey Hills brilliant keeper. It was a draw at the end of the game and was a great achievement for division 3 ladies who will now take on Forest Killarney with full confidence for next Friday night’s match. . The Beacon Hill U/16-1 girls are enjoying a great season in their first year in the Under 16 division 1 competition. With 7 wins and 3 losses they are currently sitting in 2nd position behind Pittwat er Beacon Hill Women’s O/35-2A (Fairmaidens) VS Beacon Hill B (Lolas) It was a great day for soccer with everyone was keen to have a kick after all that rain. Sunday's game was against the two Beacon Hill Division 2 ladies teams - The 'Fairmaidens' and the 'Lolas'. There were plenty of supporters who came out to see the match and cheer us on. The gam e started out with both teams playing strongly with good passes and great defenc e. There were a couple of opportunities for both sides and the Lolas scored the first goal of the match. The score at half time was 1-0 to the Lolas. Both teams cam e out strong in the second half and were playing a good game against each other. The second half saw the Lolas score a goal from a corner kick - well done ladies. The final score at the end of the match of 2-0 to the Lolas. Congratulations to all players!
