The Rock-itt : June 2012
Last month, late one evening, under a cloak of darkness, twelve Animal Rights activists tried to board a ship taking our sheep to slaughter houses overseas to be butchered in a way that defies any kind of moral dignity. These sheep, as you can see in the photo below, going up the boarding, ramp will be packed into metal framed penne’s like sardines, to spend the last days of their lives in utter misery before being unloaded on foreign shores and butchered unmercifully. There is not a thing that we the Australian public can do to help them. How many will die in transit? We will never know? You can bet that it will be a very closely guarded secret. The laws of this land says that we can’t intervene to stop the holocaust without being arrested like these poor chaps in the photo on the right, which means, hundreds of thousands of our noble sheep and cattle will perish for the sake of the mighty dollar again and again before the year is out. Animal Australia have denied having any part in the raid on the floating death ship and I believe them, as they try to do whatever they can to help the animals within the precincts of the law. But I can understand the frustration that these 12 activists are feeling at seeing the helpless and defenceless cattle and sheep being shipped out to face a cruel and horrendous ending to their lives. My heart is with these twelve courageous activists who have put themselves on the line trying to help stop the holocaust which is as much a skerge on this country of ours as slavery was to America, that is before another courageous man by the name of Abraham Lincoln decided to do something about it. At this point in time, battle lines are being drawn. I have reason to believe that the Meat Board are preparing a campaign to fight off the allegations which were proven by video footage taken by our champions at the front line, Animal Australia. The footage of cruelty to our sheep and cattle is undisputable as you will see for yourself if you care to log on to the Animal Australia website. There are so many blatant acts of cruelty taking place that I felt physically ill at the sight of them and to see these poor helpless and defenceless creatures being tortured then eventually butchered, brought tears to my eyes. Aussies, don’t sit back and let someone else do your share of the fighting to free our animals from their hum an oppressors. Your help is needed if we are to stop the pain and suffering that the money moguls are incurring upon the very animals who have kept us clothed and fed for the past 200 years. Join the campaigns against the holocaust and stand up and be counted. Animal Australia Website is: www.animalsaustralia.org With Pete Johnson
