The Rock-itt : March 2012
Report by The Zom Photos by Bill Sheridan On arrival the conditions at North Narrabeen were very calm (6.30am high tide dropping all day). A 15 knot Sou’easter sprang up and put a little life in the water but flattened the swell. As the day progressed the bank got shallower and becam e the bane of many crews who could not get across the line before the field came at them. It was a good day, with a quiet tipple on the grass at rear of club house due to an engagement party booked three months ago in the main hall and the deck. North Narra only got the Boats section of the branch by default 4 weeks ago. Officials, water safety, and Duckies did a superb job, as did the ladies of North Narra with their food and drink supplies. Much appreciated.
