fourth place. Emma won the class in a great time of 56.17 seconds with her second ride, Ego Cassablanca, not her nominated FEI horse. Wandaree Ash took a rail at fence 3a giving them 6th place. Troy Johnson and Fifa La Viva were second just 0.06 seconds ahead of Sam Fasher and World News who were third and Vicki Brighton on Mr Fugitive were fifth. Sam was the only competitor to finish with zero penalties over the four rounds giving him victory in the Australian leg of the W orld Challenge. Emma Smith on Wondaree Ash was second as the fastest of the four faults and Aaron Hadlow was third on BB Albury. Despite the arrival of the rain that had washed out most competitions scheduled around Sydney all weekend, Monday's CK Equestrian Category A Grand Prix provided another thrilling competition between the Amateurs, this time keen to score points in the Jumping NSW Amateur of the Year Series. BB Albury seemed a little tired and racked up 12 penalties in the first round putting Aaron Hadlow well out of contention. Eight Riders went through to the second round. The wet ground took its toll with Clare W atkinson and With Love eliminated at 4b. Andrew Edwards had a number of rails and a refusal with Precious to finish with a cricket score in 7th place. Martin Gostelow and Carrasino knocked a rail and had 4 tim e penalties giving them 8 penalties and putting them in 6th place. Brooke Campbell had two tim e penalties and one rail to finish with 6 penalties in 5th just behind Kirsty McPaul and Yesterday's Hero. Bonnie Martin and Bellerose R had a rail giving them 3rd place. Troy Johnson was clear in a time of 49.95 seconds on Fifa La Viva but Emma Smith took another 2 seconds off this tim e giving her another victory with Ego Casablanca. Sarah Dreverman won the 1.10m FEI Category B Class on Saturday with the striking Emmaville Mosaic in a great second round time of 56.82 seconds. Rebecca Seckold on Cool Decision was second, Daniel Thuillier on Yaramlea Excalibur was third, Jess Farrell on Cecil was fourth and Clare Watkinson on Lovegrove was fifth. In Sunday's Category B class no riders had zero penalties in both rounds. Jim Scobie was the fastest of the four faulters on Ryles to win the class in a second round tim e of 54.98 seconds. Jim's nominated horse Squirtle finished with 16 penalties. Sally-Ann Gemenis on Lady Scherezde was second and Clare Watkinson on Lovegrove was third. Rebecca Seckold had 8 penalties on Cool Decision to finish in fourth, just ahead of Aaron Hadlow and Ballycastle Big Jim. The overall FEI World Jumping Challenge Category B winner was Clare Watkinson on Lovegrove. Rebecca Seckold on Cool Decision was 2nd and Yukie Omorie on It'll Happen was third. The MJM Category B Grand Prix on Monday was won by Jim Scobie on Ryles. Grace Long on Isabella was second, Aaron Hadlow on BB Jim was third, Jess Farrell on Cecil was fourth and Andrew Edwards on Wilbur was fifth. The 1m Category C amateur class on Saturday was won by Yukie Omori on Liaison. Linda Spence on KP Vallota was second, Aaron Hadlow on Bunyarra Ridge Tostig was 3rd, Wendy Hofman on Rolling was fourth and Jane Robinson on Rain was fifth. The Open Class was won by junior rider Jessica Tripp on Kings Loyal Subject. Jess also placed 2nd on Carrawan Shahri. Team Mackillop took home 3rd and 4th and another junior, Kirrily Mann on Jive Talking, was fifth. Keeping up appearances for the adults was Todd Hinde who was 6th on Oaks Castanza. Todd's score would have given him the same position in the Amateur section if he had entered as the jockey rather than World Cup rider Hilary Scott who was listed originally. Sunday's Equissentials 1m Cat C amateur class was won by Stacey Briggs on Little Napoleon. Yukie was second, W endy third, Thomas Little on Vegemite was 4th, Emma Felloas on Bourbon Jewel was fifth and Jane Robinson also returned with Rain to win sixth place. The Open class was won by Pia Boileau and Yandoo Drought. Nickaela Malby on Redshot was second, Pil Kane on Graceful Rhythm was third, Steph Mackilop on Calvin Clyde was fourth, Hayley Jill on W P Bronson was fifth and Sponsor Michelle K elly fr om CK Equestrian presented the first place rug to Emma Smith and Ego Casablanca in the Amateur Category A Grand Pr ix Brandon Beneke and Aloha Desert Berry Hilary Scott and Oaks Viola Satur day's Category A winners, Shannon Omeara, Aaron Hadlow and Emma Smith George Johnson and Armina Todd Hinde and Oaks Castanza
