The Rock-itt : April 2011
Obviously the halves combination which can be a nightmare for any team when it isn’t working seems to be solved, and owing to an injury free season for both these lads, they will grow more confident and skilful with each game. Another plus is the return of Brett Stewart after possibly the worst season of his great career in 2010. Brett’s troublesom e knee appears to be holding up okay although a few Hail Marys from our catholic supporters won’t go astray. Also Wolfman Williams is looking set for a big season and George Rose and Brent Kite are playing better than they have for quite a while. With Glen Stewart back on the paddock leading the way, so far so good. Now let’s see if we can forget all the hype from the press and keep the momentum going. One game at a time and remember a superior attitude and superior state of mind at all times. Tackle your bloody hearts out so we can return the holy grail to its rightful place in October......our beloved Brookvale Oval. Let’s keep our engines rrrrrrrrevin in 2011! Pay a visit to the Red Cross Little Shop of Treasures at Newport. There are lots of great things to buy at extremely low prices. The Red Cross shop is situated in the small lane way between the Japanese restaurant and the hair dressing salon. Look for the Red Cross flag!
