Geeza at the Manly Fisho's, November 27, 2010 Geeza, a big name band from the 1970's, made a big comeback at the Manly Fisho's to celebrate the re- release of their 1977 album titled 'Streetlife' and featured original singer Terry Halliday, with Anthony Meaney (Drums), Brad Johns (Guitar), Martin Skipper (Bass Guitar) and a guest sax player. Geeza were formed in 1973 and enjoyed strong television and live success which saw the release of their only album titled 'Street Life' in 1977, which is a 'must have' album for any serious Australian music buff. They were well known for their spectacular live shows that included huge light shows with pyrotechnics, theatrical antics, exploding telephone box and coffin and Terry's pride and joy a 'rubber guitar'! Terry Halliday has a long music history playing in many bands that included Geeza, Boy Racer, Mistress, Speed Limit, The Rams, The Terry Halliday Band, The Great Aussie Rock Show, The Valkyries, The Outlaws, Little Egypt, The House Rockers, TMC, The New Persecutionists, One + One, The Good Old Boys, 2112, Simoriah, Terrani, Judas, Swallowing Cars, Abaca, and Hell on High Heels to name a few. Anthony Meaney (Drums) whose playing history includes Two Bob Watch, Eclipse and the Valkyries.
