The Rock-itt : September 2010
The new Dee Why Hotel itself is a credit not only to the Bayfields and the hotel's designers but also to the people who live and work in the high density area of Dee Why. The aim of the Bayfields who worked in conjunction with the hotel's designers was to primarily give the hotel's patrons something new and refreshing, yet with an aura of the old charm which has made the establishment so successful for so many years. Apart from the great décor and all the extra trimmings that have been added to give the hotel patrons a feeling of style and comfort, yet with a reminiscence of past years, management have decided to provide live entertainment for our Beaches' community. It will not only be good for Beaches' punters but it means another stage for singers, songwriters and musicians to perform and showcase their talent and express their inner feelings through their music. The Dee Why Hotel will be providing live entertainment from Wednesday right through to Sunday and you can find out what's on right here in The Rock-itt each month. As an added bonus, the Bayfields are now providing live entertainment at the Belrose Hotel, and at Newport Arms from October on their Sunday afternoon open air stage, which is a marvelous way to spend a lazy Sunday arvo in beautiful surroundings. So check out our gig guide and full page advertisements in this issue of The Rock-itt and enjoy the wonderful smorgasbord of entertainment provided by the Bayfield chain of hotels for our Beaches' people. See you in our next issue for more on Beaches' entertainment.
