The Rock-itt : May 2010
YODA Yoda is an 18 month old male Great Dane X. He is a big, strong, excitable boy who is very smart and will need some ongoing training to keep him in check. He should go home with a strong and active couple or single person who will be able to train and manage such a large dog. He would not be suitable for a family. He needs to go home with someone with large dog experience, preferably no children (will need to be supervised), and would be best not to go home with cats or other small animals. BOB Bob is a 6 year old male Labrador X. He is a lovely and friendly boy who needs to lose a few kilos. He will need an owner who will help him do this by giving him lots of exercise, which should be made easier by the fact that he loves playing with toys and playing fetching games. He is well trained but will need some lead and harness training. It would be best if he didn't go home with cats or small animals. He would also love a doggie brother or sister as a companion for him. He would be a suitable family dog and is good around children. COOKIE Cookie is a 3 year old male DSH. He came in with his sister, Chips and it would be great if they could be re-homed together. Cookie is a lovely boy who is very easy-going. He is used to being indoors and outdoors, and gets on well with other cats. He has grown up around children, and would make a great family pet. CHIPS Chips is a 3 year old female DSH. She came in with her brother, Cookie and it would be great if they could be re-homed together. Chips is a friendly girl who is very relaxed and affectionate. She is a bit shy, and can be a bit scared around kids. She doesn't really like being picked up and carried, but does like being patted. She likes being indoors and outdoors. She gets on pretty well with other cats. If you are interested in adopting any of these dogs or cats you can contact Animal Welfare League on phone: 9910 7000, fax: 9979 6762 email:email@example.com or alternatively pay them a visit at 11 Cicada Glen Rd.
