at www.myspace.com/thefuturedevice Up next was another new band playing their first show, Sludge Buzzard spitting out a sound of their own as they sludged their way through their set in fine style. The best I can describe them was if Mudhoney, Butthole Surfers and Satan got together for a noise making session. Their song Jellyman which they contributed to the compilation CD giveaway on the night was a definite highlight! Can't wait to see them again so keep an eye out for them at www.myspace.com/sludgebuzzard Maus was up next. Normally an instrumental 3 piece, Brett and Alex (guitar and drums) tore the stage to pieces with their diabolic, downstrumming madnotes topped off with a manic blast beat frenzy. It really was a crazy set of fast, techo and punk rock. Their song 300x Stitches left me picking my jaw up off the ground at the end of it...amazing! These guys have been at it for a little bit now, go and check them for yourself as you won't be disappointed if you like it hard, fast and loud at www.myspace.com/maushc Red Crayons another 2 piece band (Guitar and Drums) hit the stage opening with a catchy melodic grungy song Stuck in the Middle that is well received by the crowd.
